Deirdre joins The Hideout team with sixteen years of equestrian experience in both Western and English disciplines.

Deirdre graduated from The Thacher School, in California, where she was captain of the Equestrian Team and president in the Pack & Spur Club, along with competing at the Varsity Nationals in 2005. Deirdre recently graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science.

She has worked in all aspects of the equestrian field doing everything from halter breaking colts to instructing in the basics of Packing and Outfitting. She brings a passion for pack trips to The Hideout along with the professionalism that is expected in all trainers here at The Hideout. Deirdre is easy going but extremely observant and patient with the horses and riders of all levels.
